Alma Provisions is looking for a Service Supervisor! Alma Provisions is a Cafe-style take away & retail venue in Southwest Minneapolis which includes food, goods, and apothecary, owned by James Beard award-winning chef Alex Roberts. Our Provisions Store Supervisor will have a variety of responsibilities and exciting opportunities, including inventory/ordering, support production operations, leadership and training while consistently delivering high quality food and hospitality. The Service Supervisor has a variety of responsibilities that show guests stellar hospitality by providing spectacular food and drink knowledge, maintaining a clean environment, assisting and guiding staff throughout the course of a shift, handling guest correspondence and opening and closing the store. We are seeking a candidate who recognizes the value of welcoming, inclusive hospitality, working collaboratively with others, and enjoys a fun, fast paced environment. The Service Supervisor candidate must have an interest to grow sales, support the talents and efficiencies of our remarkable service staff and help to grow our coffee program and training.This position works closely with the store lead and ownership to develop and motivate team members, providing constructive feedback as well as continuing training and education to ensure the team is working well and having fun. This position gives you the opportunity to work within a space that you can hone your skills in both kitchen and counter service positions. The Service Supervisor at Alma Provisions has the unique opportunity to guide and evolve our guests' experience, be it at Alma Provisions or as they explore our community and city.The Supervisor position is 3-5 shifts per week, 25 to 40hr/week. Open availability mornings and weekends is a must. Wages start at $21-$24/hr based on experience. Previous restaurant experience and supervisory skills are essential.
