Who We Seek

We are looking for a Line Cook, including weekends for our Brewery located in Robbinsdale. As an important contributor to the business and team, we are looking for an experienced, dedicated, energetic, and authentic individual who is passionate about their craft and contributing to a dynamic kitchen team.

Desired Skills and Experience

High school diploma or GED

2+ years of line cook or cook experience

Strong customer service experience

Effective communication, problem solving, planning, organizational, and creative skills; desire to contribute with innovative ideas

Superior time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks for efficient service and smooth operations

Excellent guest service with the desire to go above and beyond

Ability to take direction and work well in a team

Excellent team building skills

What You'll Be Doing

Station set-up - organize/review prep list

Gather prep materials and produce product needed for that day

Cook finished prep list in a timely manner and/or by designated time - assist co-workers with prep tasks

Cook product to correct temperatures and send to expo/plater on time Consolidation of product at end of night

Communication with expo about any changes/updates/timing of orders

Walk-in standards are maintained

End of night cleaning tasks

After completing individual cleaning tasks, help your team with other tasks

Represent and maintain culture standards of Travail Collective Work in other departments and Travail Collective restaurants when needed

Assist with running and bussing food and dishes

Attend all pertinent Travail Collective staff meetings and training opportunities

About Us

In 2019 we opened as Pig Ate My Pizza Kitchen + Brewery in a completely renovated space including our first-ever, brand-new small-batch brewery. Andy Goettsch, who was previously Chef de Cuisine at our sister restaurant Travail Kitchenand a homebrewer extraordinaire, became our Head Brewer and has since tapped hundreds of unique batches.

In January of 2022, we rebranded as Nouvelle Brewing by Travail so we could more heavily feature the brewing talents of Andy, as well as our creative chef team. We are Craft Malt Certified and a Certified Independent Craft Brewery. We source local hops, malt, and ingredients as much as possible.

We now have 23 rotating taps for you to imbibe when you dine in including something for everyone including light/crispy, hoppy, malty/roasty, and fruity/sour brews. Because we’re a small-batch brewery, our tap list changes often. View our current tap listonline. If you’re on the go, you can also grab a crowler to enjoy later (a 750mL can equal to about two beers).
