RMK Management has a immediate opening for a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR & TECHNICIAN at The Durham Apartments in Edina. The Durham is now 100% fully renovated, so this will be a great opportunity for the right team to step in and continue to elevate the property.
Our team is willing to train the right person for the Maintenance Technician position, so if you have the desire to learn more about multifamily maintenance from a supportive team, you may be the person we are looking for.
Duties Include:
Complete work orders in prompt and efficient manner.
Perform maintenance as required to have apartments in move-in condition on a timely basis.
Perform preventative maintenance duties as required. Items include filter changes, replace lock batteries, repair light fixtures, repair doors, etc.
Diagnose and repair appliances.
Take after-hour calls for one week on a 2-3 week rotation.
Participate in snow removal as needed.
Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and hazardous chemical programs.
Maintain courteous communications with residents, vendors and teammates.
Comply with Fair Housing and Federal Trade Commission requirements.
Maintain pool and spa, which includes vacuuming, testing chemicals, etc.
Assist in maintaining common grounds as directed.
Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager in performance of all maintenance as required.
Additional duties or responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
1-2 years of maintenance experience.
Own personal hand tools.
HVAC Certification or willing to obtain license.
Some knowledge of carpentry, appliances, electrical and plumbing.
Able to work independently and with a team.
Pass background and drug screening prior to employment.
