Lawn Care Technician
The Lawncare Technician is responsible for providing professional lawn care to commercial customers. We are looking for people with excellent customer service skills, communication skills, a strong ability to learn and can work well with others.
Assist foreman with the following tasks.
Experience in operating zero turn mowers. (Preferred but not required).
Application of weed control and fertilization.
Pruning
Backpack blowing and weed whipping.
MNDOT pre/post trip inspections.
Must be comfortable driving a truck with a trailer.
Report vehicle/trailer issues to management right away.
Daily routes will be given to you by the Lawncare Manager each morning. Complete that daily route in a timely manner, with high quality work.
Qualifications:
Must have a positive attitude, patience and good follow-through skills.
A valid Class D Driver’s License.
Health card (or ability to obtain one).
Clean driving record. (no major offenses in the past 3 years).
Reliable transportation to work every day, on time and ready to work.
Must have working knowledge of English enough to read, write, speak and understand oral and written information.
Must be organized and have the ability to clearly document all work performed.
Always operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
You must be willing and able to lift 50+ pounds frequently carrying objects and/or tools.
You must be willing and able to walk or stand to a significant degree on rough terrain for long periods of time.
Ability to work long hours during Spring/Summer/Fall months.
