Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and a strong understanding of lawn care practices. This role involves performing various tasks related to the upkeep of residential and commercial properties, ensuring that lawns and landscapes are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained.
Duties
Perform regular mowing and lawn care to maintain optimal grass height and health.
Execute landscape maintenance tasks including planting, weeding, and mulching.
Utilize hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
Conduct tree trimming and care to promote healthy growth and aesthetics.
Maintain groundskeeping standards by ensuring all areas are clean and debris-free.
Operate equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
Build and maintain landscape features as required by client specifications.
Monitor plant health and identify any pest or disease issues, reporting them as necessary.
Skills
Proficient in landscape maintenance techniques and practices.
Strong mechanical knowledge for operating lawn care equipment.
Experience with tree trimming and general tree care methods.
Ability to use hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
Knowledge of mowing techniques that promote healthy lawn growth.
Strong attention to detail in maintaining groundskeeping standards.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in outdoor environments.
