As a Warehouse Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our operations, primarily responsible for accurately and efficiently picking and packing orders while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Your key responsibilities and duties will include:
Accurately and promptly picking and packing orders, adhering to specific customer instructions and ensuring proper labeling of products.
Unloading incoming shipments of products, including floor-loaded tires and palletized inner tubes and steel wheels.
Reviewing receiving paperwork to verify the accuracy of incoming products and ensuring correct stacking and racking procedures.
Learning to build tire assemblies efficiently (training will be provided).
Operating warehouse equipment such as riding pallet jacks, sit-down forklifts, and reach trucks.
Utilizing basic computer skills to confirm orders, print labels, and communicate effectively with warehouse and office personnel.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work area.
Collaborating and communicating effectively with team members.
Being capable of lifting up to 60 lbs repetitively.
Being able to remain on your feet for the duration of an 8-hour workday, 5 days a week.
While experience operating forklifts and building tire/wheel assemblies is beneficial, it is not mandatory for this position.
This position is a minimum of 40 hours per week, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, which includes two 15-minute breaks and a one-hour lunch break.
The starting pay for this role is $20 per hour, with overtime paid at $30 per hour for any time worked beyond 8 hours in a single day. When overtime is necessary, it is compensated at a rate of time and a half.
