General Pattern Co. is hiring a 1st Shift Experienced Industrial Plastic Painter to apply paint using a paint sprayer to Class A surfaces. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 1 year experience painting plastic or metal parts in a manufacturing setting.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm.
Starting wage is between $23 - $25 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities and Qualifications Include:
Experience painting Class A surfaces.
Operate a spray painter or other equipment to paint plastic parts accurately and mix paints and other solutions.
Monitor drying to ensure the desired results specified by the customer.
Follow all safety procedures and use PPE appropriately.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area while emphasizing quality and efficiency.
Plan ahead for upcoming paint jobs by locating and preparing paint or solutions as needed.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. and stand/ walk throughout the day.
Excellent Communication Skills (both written and verbal).
Agreeable to overtime.
Must have reliable transportation.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Experience in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels.
Self-Directed Worker.
