Checkpoint Welding and Fabrication, a family owned general job-shop is looking to add an experienced press brake programmer/operator to our team.

First Shift Monday-Friday 7:30am until 4:00pm
or
Second Shift Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm

Position Summary:
Under general supervision operates programs and operates AccuPress 3–Axis CNC Press Brake ensuring production of quality parts. Will also be responsible for shearing materials on AccuShear.
Skills:
Ability to visualize and interpret blue prints and sketches
Manufacture quality parts by referring to the provided drawings
Ability to use the basic inspection equipment (calipers, height gauge, etc.) to be able to inspect parts being produced by the individual
Ability to meet tolerance specifications
Maintain a clean and safe work area for efficient operation
Experience and Skills Required:
5+ Years Press Brake Programming + Operating
5+ Years Blue Print Reading
Able to program equipment to fabricate material based on product prints
Able to determine appropriate tooling for production
Able to calculate blank sizes for jobs based on final product prints
Able to read blueprints and fabricate to conform with blueprints
Visually inspect parts for any faults
Able to perform minor maintenance on fabrication equipment
Ability to use Plate or Manual Roll a Huge Plus!
