We are inviting you to join the Surad Interpreting and Translation Team. We are a small office and teamwork is essential. Part-time Office Support Specialist will share responsibility for clerical support of a general nature; provide office support assistance with emphasis on the full range of clerical duties including typing, data entry, filing and front desk reception, bookkeeping, processing form and maintaining supplies.
Examples of Work:
Answering phone calls, taking messages.
Filing, copying, ordering supplies.
Processing Requests for Interpreters and Scheduling appointments
Entering data into computer files.
Typing letters, labels, lists, forms and memos.
Sending out applications packets.
Tracking invoicing and payments to ensure 3rd party billing is processed correctly.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of office procedures and practices including
o Reception
o Filing and bookkeeping
o Knowledge and ability to operate office equipment including printer, copier, FAX and multi-line phone system.
o Ability to work independently.
o Attention to detail.
o Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
o Ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
o Ability to work with Microsoft Office Programs
Minimum Qualifications:
High School graduation or equivalent is required.
One year of general office experience performing a full range of office support duties is required.
