Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized office assistant to join our small suburban law firm. The ideal candidate will provide support to the paralegals and office manager. This position is part-time (10-15 hours/week), with flexible work days.
Main duties include:
Review county property tax records to obtain legal descriptions and verify ownership.
Order and summarize title work.
Draft form letters.
Copy voluminous documents and prepare for mailing.
Utilize QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks as needed.
Maintain files.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Preferred Skills:
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace.
Strong typing skills with attention to detail.
Previous experience in a clerical role is highly desirable.
