Help me sell my franchise.
I own a small business franchise located in Dakota County, MN. Annual gross income is $180k. Positive cash flow is $50k/year. Im looking to sell the business for $150k, which is less than the annual gross income.
Included in the sale is a physical store with $100k worth of equipment purchased brand new. Spent $150k on site improvement. Located in upscale community, next to a Super Target. New houses, apartments and commercial centers are continously being built in the area. A $30k franchise fee valid for 7 more years. It is turn key and with lots of potential for growth.
The reason for selling is because my new role at my day job requires a lot of travel and Im not able to maximize the full potential of the business.
A business for sale ad has already been posted in bizbuysell website so Im not really looking for someone who is just planning to post an ad there.
Im looking for someone who can help me sell my business, someone who aggressively knows a marketing strategy to find me that one buyer, someone who has the experience and ability to really sell. I do not want to prepay anything, but I will pay a 4% commission out of the sale price ($6,000 for $150k price).
