Job SummaryWe specialize in providing technology installation and support services to commercial businesses on both local and national levels. The Technical Account Manager for Data Infrastructure will be instrumental in driving our growth by sourcing new prospects, building trusting relationships, leveraging talent and resources, and managing communication and collaboration to achieve successful outcomes for our clients and our company.As a Technical Account Manager, your primary focus will be on Data Infrastructure. However, having knowledge of other technology areas will be advantageous.This position requires close collaboration with Operations, Finance, Technical Services, and other sales team members to meet our company's standards for processes, performance, and communication.The Technical Account Manager for Data Infrastructure will report to the Data Infrastructure Department Manager.This position is a direct hire and will be based out of Eden Prairie, MN. Compensation: Base Salary $85k - $95KCommission PlanCar Allowance $6,000/yearCell Phone Stipend $900/yearKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesIdentify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities aligned with our strategic goals and core capabilities.Use a variety of methods to prospect for new opportunities and meet established sales and pipeline targets.Conduct meetings with potential clients to understand their business needs and pain points, and effectively communicate our value proposition.Develop and deliver compelling business development presentations.Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and support.Establish and leverage strategic partnerships with industry professionals to drive business growth.Collect, organize, and share detailed client information with team members to facilitate clear communication and precise follow-up actions.Attend selected trade events with a focus on achieving measurable results.Stay informed about industry trends and identify market opportunities for new business development.Collaborate with team members and business units to meet company standards for processes, performance, and communication.Regularly update opportunity and forecast data in our ERP system.Manage sales-related expenses, including entertainment and travel, to stay within budget.Track and manage business and travel receipts using our expense management system.Perform additional tasks related to the role as needed.Travel expectations are less than 10%.QualificationsProven experience in sales or account management, preferably within the technology sector.Strong understanding of data infrastructure and related technologies.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with ERP systems and expense management tools.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Willingness to travel as needed, within the specified limit.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
