Cedars of Edina is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our full-time team. If you enjoy troubleshooting, repairs, and keeping an apartment community running smoothly, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on apartments and common areas
Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
Complete work orders efficiently and maintain accurate records
Respond promptly to resident requests and emergency repairs
Maintain a safe, clean work environment
Participate in an on-call rotation for evening emergencies
Work weekends on a rotating schedule
What We’re Looking For:
Previous maintenance experience in residential or multi-family housing preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours as needed
