The Landscape Crew Leader is responsible for the overall direction of the project/job site working with and reporting to the Landscape Supervisor. Duties include staging materials, planting, hardscapes, irrigation, flowers, mulch, rock, sod, seed, etc. Attention to detail and multitasking is a quality that is needed for this position. The Landscape Crew Leader is a key component of our ability to sell and install additional landscaping within our portfolio of work. Valid Driver’s License and Truck/Trailer experience is required.
Responsibilities
Site and Crew Management
Keeping track of man-hours, supplies, costs
Carry out duties associated with Landscape Installation
Understand plans and designs and implement them on-site
Operate necessary tools/equipment such as skid loaders, saws, edgers,
compactors, and others
Ability to assist in the management of client needs
Qualifications
Valid driver's license
Possess or ability to obtain a Department of Transportation health card
Organized and detailed to complete services in a professional manner
Ability to lift 75 lbs. and operate equipment in a sitting position for up to 8 hrs./time
Ability to safely operate truck and landscape trailer
Positive attitude, hard-working and organized individual to work safely in a team environment
Ability to lead a crew of two to five people
Ability to work with all levels of employees
3 years of landscape experience in a Crew Leader/Supervisor setting including all aspects of hardscapes, boulders, water features, plant knowledge, bed prep, sod, seed

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
