Growing together.This role will report to the Associate Director of the Agent Materials, Growth Marketing team in developing and executing marketing strategies and tactical plans to promote UnitedHealthcare’s Medicare Advantage and Special Needs product offerings. The Marketing Specialist II will work on national initiatives supporting sales agent marketing material needs to help drive membership/sales growth. This position will focus primarily on creating material that reside within the online delivery system for field-based marketing materials. The candidate will work directly with Field Marketing, Sales, Legal, Compliance and other partners to support their goals with marketing expertise and services. The candidate will also partner with the Toolkit Operations team within Government Programs to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns and programs. The candidate will be expected to help lead annual launch strategies as well as assist with ongoing management of reporting, along with best practices set forth for the team. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment with a high degree of individual responsibility as well as the need to collaborate with key partners within the organization. The ability to manage numerous competing priorities is a must.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with both the planning and execution of key growth marketing campaigns from start to finish; concept development, identifying tasks and their sequencing, collaborating with internal and external partners (including regulatory partners to garner approvals), develop and execute a holistic material strategy, and deliver results by deadlines

Contribute to the compilation of key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, including formal proposals and recommendations on tactics

Become a subject matter expert regarding agent material creation including internal processes and procedures, including a deep understanding of marketing strategies, messaging, and creative components

Have a solid understanding of marketing compliance/regulatory requirements within the healthcare industry

Establish solid relationships with key stakeholders in order to proactively communicate project expectations and timelines

3+ years of marketing experience

2+ years of experience leading projects / programs from planning through execution

Solid project management background

Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP certification

Healthcare or insurance industry experience

Experience helping to lead / facilitate omni-channel marketing campaigns (digital, direct mail, TV etc.)

Experience managing internal / external customer requests and demands

Medicare and Medicaid knowledge

Proven strategic thinking and analytical skills
