Operations Director - Equipment Finance

Description Summary: The Operations Director- EF is responsible for strategic oversight of the Huntington Equipment Finance within Asset Finance operations team. Provides leadership and manages through supervisors and/or subordinate managers. Manages significant change initiatives/projects and is involved with all aspect of the business, operationally and strategically. Implements new policies and procedures to ensure operations is the most efficient and in alignment of all corporate and regulatory requirements. Prepares, monitors, controls, and reports throughout the operations organization. Communicates and influences with stakeholders, senior leadership, and across the equipment finance organization.Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides strategic oversight to the operations team.

Establishes long- and short-term strategic plans that support business / corporate goals and objectives.

Implement new policies and procedures.

Builds cross organizational partnerships.

Leads supervisors and managers.

Hiring and performs management responsibilities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum of 12 years of Admin/Operational focused leadership in the Financial or like as industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven ability to lead continuous improvement efforts to maximize efficiencies and identify/correct process deficiencies

Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities

Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external partners

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Problem solving skills/ability to handle complex issues

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Project/program management skills

Proficiency in Solifi/InfoLease and Oracle operating systems
