Design, develop, and manage activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life; Implement full product lifecycle management, with a technical focus, including strategy, design, development, management, and end of life of new, existing or acquisition products; leverage market insights to understand market/customer needs, emerging technology developments and trends to identify new opportunities or adjust current product offerings; balance deep subject matter expertise in the product, business use cases and strong technical aptitude; ensure delivery of product performance against expectations and updates changes to a product portfolio to improve competitive position, and optimal product performance to meet customer and market needs; maintain responsibility/own the P&L; implement cross-functional stakeholder management to include but not limited to design, engineering, scrum teams, and business leaders; function as technical expert with a fluency in development concepts and modern development practices. Own and drive management and evolution of assigned capabilities; set team direction, resolves problems, and provides guidance to members of own team; perform turnover capabilities to IT for feature elaboration and release planning; manage to timelines and schedules of the product requirements; set team direction, resolves problems, and provides guidance to members of own team; adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges; influence or provides input to forecasting and planning activities; support generation of operational readiness considerations related to specific capabilities; drive and facilitate stakeholder discussions to ensure requirements are captured and internal stakeholders are aligned; obtain director and VP level approval of capability content; support the translation of capabilities to features and working product; manage to timelines and schedules of the product requirements; and escalate concerns as appropriate.
