Description Join one of Robert Half's clients as a Software Verification Engineer I, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. We are seeking a highly skilled individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about testing. As a Software Verification Engineer, you'll be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing test cases, executing tests, and resolving defects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and work with cutting-edge technology.Responsibilities:
Independently and collaboratively plan, write, and execute test cases in compliance with Abbott practices, FDA regulations, and ISO standards.
Design new test suites to validate new features and functionality.
Conduct dry runs and formal verification activities as needed.
Configure and maintain test equipment.
Document and track defects found during verification and validation (V& V) activities.
Participate in requirements, design, and test reviews.
Requirements
Experience and Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
Knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle management tools.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent documentation skills for conveying valuable information to management.
Proficient in quantitative and analytical skills with strong organizational abilities.
Exceptional communication skills for both written documentation and oral presentations.
Proven ability to build positive relationships across various organizational levels.
Success driven, proactive, and self-motivated with a positive attitude towards problem-solving.
