Software Verification Engineer I

Description Job Description:We are seeking a driven and meticulous Software Verification Engineer to join our esteemed Software Verification team. As a crucial member of our team, you will leverage your testing expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, passionate, and dedicated to ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.Responsibilities:

Independently and collaboratively plan, write, and execute test cases in accordance with Abbott practices, FDA regulatory guidelines, and ISO standard procedures.

Design new test suites to validate features and functionality of software applications.

Perform dry runs and formal verification activities as required to ensure compliance and functionality.

Configure and set up test equipment for validation purposes.

Record and address defects identified during verification activities, ensuring timely resolution.

Conduct requirements analysis and participate in design and test reviews.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Utilize software development lifecycle management tools effectively to track and manage verification activities.

Requirements

Experience and Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.

Proficient knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.

Familiarity with software development lifecycle management tools.

Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

Excellent documentation skills, delivering information that aids in management's decision-making process.

Proven experience in quantitative analysis, organizational skills, and follow-up.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and presentation.

Ability to build and maintain positive relationships across various levels of an organization.

Demonstrated proactive thinking, self-starting ability, and a positive attitude towards problem-solving.
