Defines, develops and deploys long term strategies to achieve world class systems and best in Quality products and services

Lead the Global ISO certification process. Champion the nVent quality processes & tools, including quality Policy, Manual, Documentation Structure and Quality Systems to align to ISO 9001-2015 requirements and other certificates (Ex: AS9100 and N.3800)

Act as guardian, custodian and a promoter of company quality standards. Align Global Quality Objectives with executive leadership

Ensure compliance to the Quality Management System (QMS) and work to align the Quality System to meet current business and customer needs while continuously evaluating its efficiency. Measure Quality Systems performance against established industry standards. Develop and maintain a companywide audit process and schedule

Drives systemic improvements across Quality metrics through standardization and best practices

Leads the integration of nVent Quality Management System into the current and/or new ERP systems

Act as champion for the Company’s Customer Complaint System, Corrective/Preventive Action System, and Change Management processes

Own quality Metrics/Dashboards and communication/storage forums. Champion changes in quality metrics, help introduce future metrics and dashboards, develop operational definitions to make it easy for the organization to report accurate and consistent metrics

Periodic travel is required.

YOU HAVE:

Four-year college degree, technical degree preferred, advanced degree a plus

Demonstrated ability to use Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools

Several years of experience in manufacturing, quality/reliability engineering, quality assurance, quality systems, customer service

Digital Literacy in ERP systems (JDE preferred), CAPA database, PLM (Enovia preferred), New Product Development process, Data Warehouse (e.g. Showcase, Proclarity, Excel or Access) and RCCM reporting (e.g. 8D, 8-step, PDCA, Quality Tools)

Consistent track record in leading significant company initiatives in quality across multiple sites and/or divisions

Extensive knowledge in building Quality Management Systems and creating/maintaining Quality Control Manuals and Divisional Procedures in compliance with ISO 9001.

Exceptional analytical, problem solving & root-cause analysis skills

Ability to work independently, as well as direct the work of others

Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally (customers, suppliers, internal functions)

Works closely with the project stakeholders, project sponsors, resource managers and others to guide efforts toward achieving intended business results. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (95%) Project Management Determines and defines project scope and objectives Collaborates with IT leads to determine resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner Prepares budget based on scope of work and resource requirements Tracks project costs to meet budget expectations Develops a detailed plan/schedule to monitor and track the progress of the project Performs risk management analysis to reduce project risks Reports and escalates to upper management as needed Provides project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress Ensures all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget Leads the initiation and planning of a project and ensure technical feasibility Ensures resource availability and allocation Coordinates with internal and external parties for the flawless execution of projects Manages relationships between vendors and stakeholders Measures project performance using appropriate project management tools Manages contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables Utilizes the Delivery Management Office’s (industry) best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution (5%) Completes other tasks and projects as assigned SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Required: 4 years of IT project management experience using project management methodology, techniques, and tools 2 years of IT and/or healthcare experience Knowledge of and competency in project management processes, including planning tasks and allocating resources, risk management, issues management, time management, financial management, working in teams, quality management, monitoring and reporting, and documentation.
