In this new position, you will communicate, interact, and assist regularly with APEX team members; prospective clients; existing clients; Department of Administration team members; and other federal, state, and local community and contracting stakeholders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing training and event communications; promoting trainings, events, and program information on social media and other marketing forums; processing incoming client requests; and assisting the Program Director with programmatic reporting requirements.To promote a culture of flexibility, we offer staff a hybrid work environment that varies by team, position, and business needs. With a telework arrangement, onsite attendance may be required for team meetings or as requested by management to meet business needs. Completion of a telework agreement will be required.Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of customer service practices and principles sufficient to identify each customer's needs and meet quality standards for services that result in customer satisfaction.

Skill in data entry sufficient to: (i) read source documents and enter data in specific data fields; (ii) locate and correct data entry errors; and (iii) receive and review source documents, compare documents to database information, and edit documents.

Communication skills sufficient to: (i) write, prepare, and edit materials using correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence construction; (ii) communicate effectively, tactfully, and in a business-like manner with internal and external customers, the public, and a highly diverse clientele; and (iii) explain the reasons for transactions and procedures, applicable rules, and regulations so others understand the information they are being given.

Knowledge of word processing and data management software applications sufficient to: (i) create documents from a variety of sources, including compiling lists and creating spreadsheets to track projects and activities; and (ii) compile, research, and analyze information from databases; and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Skills in customer service sufficient to: (i) provide prompt, courteous, and accurate information to customers in-person, on the phone, and through email and other written correspondences; and (ii) perform duties with courtesy, respect, and interest in positive problem-solving.

Knowledge of computer software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, Teams), ShareFile, Adobe Acrobat, or similar software.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree, certificate, or coursework in business, marketing, education, or contracting.

Experience in an administrative, office support role, or event management.

Knowledge of government contracting at the local, state, and/or federal level.

Experience managing business-focused social media accounts.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access), Microsoft Teams, ShareFile, Adobe Acrobat, or similar software.

Experience managing CRM systems.

Ability to organize and monitor a high-volume project submission of varying degrees of complexity.

Competency in continuity of services in a hybrid work environment.
