This temporary-to-full time Collections Specialist position is available in the St. Paul, Minnesota area.How you will make an impact

Register all customer payments to the correct reports

Ensure payments are processed

Process bankruptcy filings correctly when received

Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

Act as mediator in maintaining quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries

Manage inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence

Direct all billing and reporting activities in accordance to deadlines

Maintain and update customer files to sustain data integrity

Abide by all Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act rules and regulations

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company

Previous experience using accounting software

Be able to effectively analyze and make decisions on customer accounts

Demonstrated knowledge of Aging Reports

Foundational knowledge in Cash Collections

Experience with Collection Processes

Adeptness in Aging Accounts

Oracle experience desired

AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred

2-3 years of prior high volume collections experience
