Develop Requests for Proposals (RPF)

Negotiate terms of vendor contracts

Provide technical assistance

Manage contractor performance to assure contractor compliance and outcome achievement

Coordinate and manage contracts to conduct the IDBI licensing feasibility study within the Disability Services Division (DSD)

Responsibilities include:

Manage and evaluate EIDBI Licensure Feasibility Study professional/technical contracts to ensure compliance with departmental standards and state laws, and achievement of expected outcomes

Develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and vendor contracts to secure contractors to provide a national environmental scan and evaluation of autism services licensing standards, and facilitate engagement with stakeholders to review standards and produce recommendations to DHS and the legislature for future EIDBI provider licensure

In consultation and coordination with contractors, internal and external ASD community stakeholders, develop and execute a meaningful stakeholder engagement plan for the licensing feasibility study project

Minimum Qualifications2 years professional experience developing and delivering licensing feasibility and standards recommendations. Experience must demonstrate the following:

Background in autism/EIDBI services and supports

Basic understanding of contract management

Project planning sufficient to organize projects with others, establish goals and timetables, organize project workflows, clarify mutual expectations, and evaluate results

Bachelor’s degree in related field may substitute for 1 year of professional experiencePreferred Qualifications

Provide technical assistance

Use creative problem solving techniques to initiate and advance project goals

Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and/or cultures
