This position is accountable for loan processing, varied secretarial and clerical duties, including, but not limited to administrative support to the Commercial Lending Department in professional loan documentation, processing support in loan files, and construction draw processing.RequirementsESSENTIAL DUTIESPerform all duties as needed, including, but not limited to, verify & analyze income, credit report, flood certification pulls, title commitment ordering and reviewing, insurance tracking, order and review appraisals, Brokers Opinion of Value and title insurance and policies. Assemble loan files, submit, update conditions (maintain electronic file copies, process loan documents, maintain tickler lists and book loans on core systems.Follow up and track final title policies for recorded documents.File and track UCC and title lien filings.Prepare and track loan perfection documentation.Financial tracking for commercial files to remain current for annual review and to remain in compliance with member business loan agreements.Review closed loans and build closed loan folders for the Commercial department.Track and mail commercial paid loans to members.Contact customers directly in a tactful and professional manner to clear documentation exceptions, obtain additional information as needed, and assist with collecting delinquent loans. Maintains loan tracking sheet.Understand and comply with all lending policies and procedures for commercial, construction, and consumer loans.Track exceptions within the Commercial Department and report exceptions to SVP of Commercial Services monthly.Maintain a working knowledge of written policies and procedures applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.Maintain customer profiles and identifies opportunities to offer additional products and services to meet their financial needs.Perform any additional duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIESAbility to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team.Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email software and use of the Internet. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate interest, commissions, discounts, proportions, and percentages and to compute rate, ratio and percent.Ability to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to deal calmly and professionally with diverse personalities and cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Ability to communicate with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving and obtaining information, as well as advising or referring.Ability to establish priorities, set goals and meet deadlines in an accurate and efficient manner.
