Finalize and present projected costs of well-being and benefit program changes for approval by the CAO and CFO for approval before cascading budgets to divisional presidents and CFOs.

Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and reconciling actual spend for the company's enterprise and divisional well-being, health welfare, and retirement benefit programs to ensure financial accountability and alignment with organizational objectives including mitigating medical, pharmacy and other benefit inflation trend.

Report financial performance, compared to the Company's Well-being and Benefit Programs to the CAO and CFO.

Develop and lead the process for ensuring that estimated cost savings (or increases) negotiated in the vendor selection process are accurately forecasted, budgeted and then realized in actual results.

Manage the well-being and benefits cost center, including budgeting for departmental FTEs and professional services spend, to optimize resource allocation and achieve financial targets.

Financial Security Well-being and Retirement Benefit Strategy and Operations

Provide leadership in qualified retirement plan strategy to ensure that benefits provided in qualified retirement plans are compliant with applicable regulations, competitive for each operating division, and cost effective.

Provide strategic leadership in adopting regulatory requirements and plan enhancements as required, and permitted, by SECURE 2.0.

Oversee the team, and external, subject matter experts (SME)s to ensure the 401(k) plan and Committee comply with all regulatory, compliance and fiduciary responsibilities under ERISA, IRS and other applicable regulations.

Oversee financial well-being being operations including the company's emergency savings, paycheck advance, and financial education programs to ensure the programs align with Humana's strategic objectives and contribute to associate well-being.

Collaborate with the Well-being and Benefit Principal to ensure the Company's financial wellbeing strategic goals are realized through financial well-being operations team.

Oversees the design, implementation and operations of the Company's well-being packages to ensure they achieve target outcomes and deliver excellent user experience.

Ensure that financial well-being, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans coordinate to deliver divisionally industry leading financial well-being and security benefits.

Well-being and Benefit M&A Due Diligence and Target Integration

Responsible for oversight of benefit processes for mergers, acquisitions, JVs, partnerships and divestiture processes, including synergy/dis-synergy modeling, designing the benefit plan integration strategy, coordination and establishing integration timelines, and monitoring the successful integration of targets on platform benefits.

Ensure that significant financial, non-financial and compliance risks at target companies are identified during due diligence and appropriately addressed in purchase agreements, acquisition business case and documented.

Lead the team ensuring that the post-acquisition integration plan synergies and dis-synergies are quantified, that integration plans are approved by HR leadership, division presidents and CFO's and that dis-synergies are balanced against associate experience for integrating target company associates.

Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications

8 or more years of Finance, Accounting, ERISA Health or Retirement Plan Administration

5 or more years of management experience

Have recently( within the last 3-4 years) lead a team of at least 5 or more professionals

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Experience in leading benefit merger and acquisition processes, including synergy modeling and integration strategies

Some adhoc travel could be required based on business need

Preferred Qualifications

MBA, CPA or other Master's degree

ERISA compliance experience for health, welfare, or retirement plans

Financial modeling

Accounting
