Currently enrolled as a university master’s student

Data Science and Analytics InternSiemens Digital Industries Software, strategy team is looking for a data science and analytics intern to help define data model and data driven understanding of multiple partner ecosystem and network. To define our business strategy, we want to answer questions like:

How are our current inbound and outbound partners performing? What level of involvement do they have?

How can we understand the historical performance? How can we understand current partner performance?

How can we predict the future partner retention and expansion to the growth of business?

What impact will the business model shift to SaaS will have on current partners?

Key Responsibilities:

Work cross-functionally with key stakeholder teams to access and clean data sources

Build a data model framework and KPIs for our partner and ecosystem data

Apply AL/ML and advanced analytics strategies to answer important business questions.

Building framework and structured repeatable approach for partner and other ecosystem data collection and analytics

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a master’s degree in data science, economics, or business administration with a quantitative emphasis

Proficient at data analysis in Python/R, SQL, and/or other open-source data science toolkits

Proficient with data scraping and cleansing techniques; previous experience with KNIME/pandas a plus

Familiar with data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, and classifier development techniques

Familiar with traditional machine learning models (e.g., SVM, xgboost) and deep learning methods (e.g., transformer-based architectures)

Comfortable communicating in a large organization and working cross-functionally.

Experience working with Salesforce, SAP, or other ERP data systems a big plus.

The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $44.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
