Appointment Type Full Time Regular Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt General Function The Resource Coordinator, MMP is responsible for assisting the Program Coordinator, MMP with the Worksite and Young Parent Programs. The Resource Coordinator, MMP primarily works with the Worksite program supporting participants 15 ½ to 26 years of age in meeting the goal of obtaining and retaining mentored employment. The Resource Coordinator, MMP recruits and retains MMP corporate partners, arranges and facilitates pre-employment job readiness classes, and establishes worksite mentor/mentee relationship matches. The Resource Coordinator, MMP assists the Program Coordinator, MMP in supervising graduate assistants who serve as case managers.The Missouri Mentoring Partnership is a grant-funded program and employment is dependent on continued grant funding.Description of Primary Duties Provide support to Worksite program participants 15 1/2 to 26 years of age in meeting goals of obtaining and retaining mentoring employment. Recruits and retains corporate partners, arranges and facilitates pre-employment job readiness classes, and establishes worksite mentor/mentee relationship matches. Assists Program Coordinator, in supervising graduate assistants, promote both Worksite and Young Parent mentoring programs, and maintains website and social media outlets.Minimum Acceptable Qualifications Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or other human services field, Human Resource Management, Public or Business Administration, or Marketing is preferred.Experience: Experience in teen outreach and programming, job development and placement, group facilitation, community and outreach is preferred.Skills: Knowledge of local community, social services, and non-profit resources is preferred. Computer literacy and the ability to use the internet and Microsoft Office applications are required. The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required.
