Through the fabrication, manufacturing, and assembly of NPP proprietary and trade-secret equipment, the Support Center helps push us to the front of the pack as a leader in the CPG industry. Are you ready to deliver the best?As a Senior Staff Engineer (Electrical and Controls), you will be responsible for power and control systems engineering design, review and oversight for capital projects and proprietary equipment. You will actively provide electrical and controls engineering design assistance for all projects and factories including design support for Division Engineering. Utilizing design tools and engineering expertise, you will facilitate process troubleshooting, process enhancements and process innovations.

Engage in engineering design reviews for all project pertinent drawings and review electrical specifications, calculations and equipment selections for compliance.

Develop system arrangements and handle a multitude of production documentation details within electrical, controls and automation design.

Coordinate with various project stakeholders, internal and external, to enable multi-discipline design coordination and compliance.

Contribute to the development of Nestlé Purina Engineering technical design guidelines and standards as well as pertinent electrical specifications, hygienic electrical construction methods and materials.

Develop electrical fabrication documentation for approved work orders and provide instruction to electricians tasked with constructing from these documents.

Supervise team of both Full - Time and contract Electricians.

Travel as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

5+ years experience in an Electrical Engineering, Machine Design in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment

Experience working within “National Electrical Code” (NEC70/ 70e) and “National Fire Protection Association” (NFPA 79) electrical safety standards for electrical panel design

PLC programming experience

The approximate pay range for this position is $99,000 to $124,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
