Assist highly disruptive students Assist with playground, breakfast, lunchroom duties Assists in gathering pertinent information for the development of appropriate behavioral intervention plans. Assists in progress monitoring and the collection of student behavioral data regarding implementation plans to ensure student success. Assists building staff to implement positive reinforcement-based classroom management systems. Assists transportation staff regarding the use of behavioral management programs on buses. Provides direct support to students to enhance teacher and specialist instruction. Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of intervention plans that address the behavioral needs of students, such as IEP’s,504’s and Behavior Intervention Plans. Attends and participates in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, IEP meetings, and other meetings as required. Complies with Board policies, rules, regulations, and directives. Reports cases of suspected child abuse according to state law. Participates in faculty meetings, educational conferences, professional training seminars, and workshops. Title: Assistant Track and Field Coach FY2425101 Season Dates: Mid March – End of May, 2025 Reports to: Head Coach or Athletic Director Essential Job Duties Acts under the direction of the head coach and assumes the functions and duties of head coach in his/her absence. Coaches participants in the skills necessary for track and field, particularly Pole Vault. Must maintain competency in rules, regulations, and coaching techniques for the sport/activity. Maintains discipline and sportsmanlike conduct of all participants and enforces the policies of the District uniformly when disciplining participants. Responsible for the inventory of equipment. In team activities, teaches/coaches the importance of team work. Understands the proper administrative line of command and refers all requests or grievances through proper channels. Serves as a mentor to each athlete to promote the development and demonstration in student athletes the character traits of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. Knowledge Skills Abilities Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to follow both oral and written directions and instructions of the head coach and/or athletic director. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Has completed all NFHS Courses. Must have a flexible schedule. Necessary special requirements: Montana Driver’s license or the ability to obtain license within three months of hire date. Position requires working flexible schedules. Completion of NFHS Fundamental of Coaching course upon hire. (Course cost is at employee’s own expense) Completion of NFHS Concussion in Sports course.
