Season: 4–6 months starting early November (strong chance to extend).
We are a small fishing lodge in Fort Smith, Montana. Right around the corner from the Bighorn River.
We are looking for a general handyman/contractor that would enjoy a slower winter working in one place. We provide housing which is a 2 bedroom home in a neighborhood across the street. 75% of this work is indoors. Mainly rehabbing motel rooms with new trim and flooring and a few larger projects involving framing out a few walls and putting up some drywall.
30 to 35 hours per week.
The main items we need help on are:
Framing / repairs Drywall hang/finish Trim & finish carpentry
Flooring (LVP/laminate/tile) Interior/Exterior paint & prep
Light maintenance (doors, hardware, caulk, minor fixture swaps)
Occasional exterior tasks (siding patches, fascia/soffit touch-ups)
