Jake's Horses is a family owned and operated outfitting business located in Big Sky, MT.
We are hiring summer guides who are capable of guiding groups of up to 8 guests on horseback. Guides should have strong work ethic, be accountable and self-sufficient; responsible and capable of getting the job done without constant supervision.
Guides ride between 5 and 7 hours in one day of work. Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, caring for the horses and equipment; general ranch duties including fencing, irrigation, and chores.
Guides must be friendly and have a positive attitude, must have a mind for customer service, work well with others and have experience working with horses.
Salary is based on a 22 day work month. Any days worked over 22 days is paid time and a half. Guides have the opportunity to make great tips every day. Successful and motivated guides report making upward of $200.00 in tips, a day.
