The Bay Bar and Grille is looking for a Front of House Shift Manager to join our team. The Bay Bar and Grille is a family owned restaurant with a casual atmosphere, great food and even better staff. We are looking for a personable and detail oriented person to complete our team. We highly value our staff and their well being and need a candidate that can compliment our passion for a happy and healthy workplace. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule who is available most weekends and evenings but may occasionally be asked to work day shifts as needed. Below are some of the skill sets and duties we require in order for the restaurant, staff and management to succeed.

2+ years dine-in restaurant experience preferred
1+ year(s) management/supervisory experience required
High School Diploma or GED required
Job duties are as follows, but are not limited to the list below:
Ensure that all staff members comply to the safe food handling procedures
Engage customers in a positive dialogue to ensure return business
Resolve any complaints or issues
Perform restaurant opening and closing activities
Monitor presentation and ensure that restaurant service and quality standards are constantly met
Fill in on shifts for host, expo, server, and/or bar as needed
Friday and Saturday dinner shifts are required
We are closed on Sundays so you will be off every Sunday!
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
Pay: $25.00 per hour, shift meal and drink included daily
Review and performance based pay raise after 90 days and annually thereafter
