This is an opportunity to work for a great local business without drama and stress.
This is a part time but permanent position. We give bonuses and pay is based on experience. This is a great position for a stay at home mom or semi retired person who wants flexibility and a few shifts to help with increasing costs. We can work with someone who wants 1 shift a week or up to 3 shifts.
We are looking for someone friendly, trustworthy, and dependable as we are a small team family. Must be 18 or older to apply. The store and location is very safe and we have never had any threatening situations even with our female workers. The owners have ow ed and worked for 9 years in the same location
The position includes:
Friendly customer service using cash point of sale computer
—must have basic math skills
Open or close store by following a checklist
—will give managerial experience of having keys
Keep the store and cooler stocked
—must be able to lift 25 pounds and be on feet for extended periods
Scoop ice cream and make milkshakes
Bag ice
Sweep and mop
—no bathrooms need to be cleaned
Perks—$3 allowance towards snacks or drinks during shift
Time and a half pay when owner family is out of town for every shift worked
Bonuses and Christmas bonus
Get to work on your own overseeing a teenager in the summer
Any time off with advanced notice before schedule is out

The owners train you to do your job and do not micro manage
Must pass a drug test and complete an alcohol certification
Shifts
Monday through Thursday shifts are 6:30-1pm and 1pm to 8pm
Friday—6:30-1pm and 1pm to 9pm
Saturday—8am to 1pm and 1pm to 9pm
Sunday—8am to 2pm and 2pm to 8pm
Summer hours we close at 9pm every night
