Job Description

As a Help Desk IT Technician, you will provide technical support and assistance to end-users within our organization. Your primary responsibilities will be to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT-related issues, ensuring seamless operation and optimal functionality of hardware, software, and network systems. As the first point of contact for technical problems, you will interact directly with employees to offer practical solutions and maintain high customer satisfaction.

This position requires you to work in the office at our Belgrade Montana facilities Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, with that said, there is some flexibility and you may be able to work from home on an as needed basis.

Primary duties include:

· Manage IT-related tickets and queues, escalating when necessary.

· Update User Information in Active Directory, group policy and 0365

· Troubleshoot network-related issues using Unifi or similar management systems.

· Assist with evaluating and recommending IT solutions, products, and services.

· Support users and other locations using Remote Support tools.

· Provide support for internal communication, infrastructure, and security systems, including servers, computer hardware, network equipment, phones, and cameras.

· Provide training to users regarding software in use by the organization.

· Support users through permissions and passwords associated with SaaS systems and non-hosted Systems, including ERP.

· Work to improve the quality of technology services to users and use computing skills to assist other employees in their quality improvement effort.

· Work with Supply Chain dept to procure hardware, software, and supplies.

· Work with internal and external websites as needed.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant experience

· 2+ years performing IT-related work

· Expert level knowledge of Networking systems

· Knowledge of networking services, cloud and standard networking protocols

· Computer proficiency and understanding of various types of hardware

· Project management skills

· Creative problem-solving skills

· Good communication skills

· Ability to multi-task and deal with frequent interruptions

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Need to be able to work on-site five days a week.
