Job Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications:
Must disclose any and all criminal history.
Ability to learn 3 new computer programs, TAP, Metrc and a POS system.
Typing skills of 40+ wpm.
Math skills: Able to understand and calculate dosages and potencies.
Properly follow cash handling procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills, including a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor.
Understanding, compassion and empathy for customers.
Excellent communication skills with both co-workers and customers.
Ability to communicate through various formats including email and phone.
Flexible, collaborative, team-oriented person with well developed social skills

Favorable but not required skills
Excellent computer skills: Include proficiency in Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, Adobe, Cloud storage software like Google drive and Sync.
Basic computer network skills, can take direction for IT to troubleshoot and fix connectivity issues.
EDUCATION
Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent required.
Cannabis Budtender job duties:
Sales, product education, patient relations.
Enter customers into state and in-house systems.
Maintain an understanding and apply all State Cannabis laws & regulations during sales and tasks.
Follow security protocols.
Accurately sell products and keep them organized within their designated area.
Maintain a clean and organized work space.
Able to work ALL weekends and some holidays (NOT Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, July 4th, Memorial Day or Labor day).
Job is 5 days/week 38-40hr. Hours of work will be somewhere between 9am - 8pm. Schedules are set to be consistent with consecutive days off.
Must be eligible to apply for and receive an employee badge from MT DOR- Cannabis Control Division, including a fingerprint background check.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Job Physical Requirements:
Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday.
Able to push, pull, or lift 45 lbs. and participate in an active workplace environment.
