Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Health Services Coordinator to join our Family Medicine Clinic Team! The Occupational Health Services Coordinator (OHSC) provides services to patients/clients of Cabinet Peaks Clinic through Occupational Health Services coordination and follow up. The OHSC is primarily responsible for the processing and coordination of patient/clients testing orders. This role serves as the liaison for clinical support staff and our Occupational Health clients. The Health Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining OHS orders and sending results to employers, as well as maintaining the tracking of all testing. The OHSC will be responsible for the input of proper charges per the client contract as well as ensuring that the charge is billed to the proper client in Meditech for an OHS visit. Major Job Duties & Responsibilities Respond to inquiries related to OHS testing transactions via phone and email. Track and follow up on received OHS source documents. Coordinate send and receipt of OHS source documents; resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing information on documents. Ensure OHS tracker is completed and accurate. Input proper charge to client account. Coordinate and track active OHS clients; ensure contract is current. Accept and act upon all duties and/or projects assigned by management to the best of his/her ability. Develop and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders, to include OHS clients, patients, employees, providers, and administration. Confirm in Meditech that the proper client is billed for OHS visit (not the patient's insurance). Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, CPMC staff members, the public, and OHS clients. Proficient computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet software; Meditech knowledge preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Knowledge of medical terminology and third-party payor methodology is desired. Ability to operate basic office equipment. Knowledge of medical office operations. Schedule Based on the needs of the clinic. Education Requirements High school graduate or equivalent. Two or more years progressive management experience in a related setting preferred. Experience 5 years medical office experience preferred.
