Preschool Teacher

Position: Lead Teacher or Assistant Teacher (Montessori Program), Full time or Part Time

One of our beloved staff members is relocating to a different state in a few weeks, and we are now seeking a dedicated individual to join our welcoming, positive team.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and supports children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Plan and execute daily lessons and activities that align with the curriculum.

Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes cultural awareness and respect for diversity.

Observe and evaluate children's progress and provide regular feedback to parents.

Collaborate with other teachers to create an engaging and cohesive learning environment.

Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Education, or a related field (for Lead Teacher).

Montessori certification from an accredited institution preferred (for Lead Teacher).

Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a Montessori classroom or a licensed childcare center for preschool-age children (for Lead Teacher).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for working with young children and a deep understanding of child development.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
