Uniform Supervisor SUMMARYThe Uniform Supervisor will offer hands on supervision of laundry and valet staff and must be accountable to ensure proper quality and efficiencies are produced at all times. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Overseeing all aspects of the care and cleaning of guest and employee laundry, dry cleaning, and linen to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity for the hotel.

Responsible for the hotel associate uniforms, guest laundry/valet, and all rooms, F&B and spa linen.

Oversee the employee uniform program, including processing and distribution

Supervise all colleagues in these areas, including seamstress.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school or equivalent education required.

One to two years’ experience in a luxury resort preferred.

Five years’ experience in laundry.

Must possess a positive attitude.

Must be willing to participate in a learning environment.

Must integrate company values throughout all interactions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to work in extreme temperatures like laundry rooms (+110°F), possibly for one hour or more. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing. In the United States we are proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V.
