This position reports to the Director of Social Services and is responsible managing and coordinating interdisciplinary treatment and discharge planning services at Montana State Hospital. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity Knowledge of clinical methods and best practices within an acute psychiatric care setting. Understanding of individual and team treatment and therapy for mental health disorders. Knowledge of professional, ethical, and evidence-based standards of practice for healthcare professionals involved in the operation of a psychiatric / healthcare facility. Ability to analyze, assemble, organize and compose accurate and meaningful reports and complete clinical documentation. Experience with management of direct report to include direct supervision of a department. Meet minimum qualifications: o Master’s degree in a social service-related field such as psychology, social work or counseling. o Current Licensure in Social Services discipline (i.e., LCSW, LCPC, LMSW, Psychologist…) in Montana is required + Or the ability to attain applicable Montana licensure prior to the first day of work. o 3 years of recent (within past 5 years) progressive experience in Social Services field required. o 3 years of recent experience (within past 5 years) as a manager/supervisor preferred.
