Key Responsibilities
As a Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney, you will manage a caseload of approximately 100–200 personal injury cases from intake through settlement.
You will:
Conduct initial client consultations, set expectations, and build trust from day one.
Manage a team of case managers and assistants to move files efficiently through treatment and negotiation stages.
Communicate regularly with clients to update, educate, and reassure throughout their recovery process.
Review medical records, prepare settlement evaluations, and draft demand letters when needed.
Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters to maximize client recovery.
Collaborate with firm partners and senior attorneys to review complex cases and develop strategy.
Oversee lien negotiations, finalize disbursements, and ensure timely file closure.
Maintain detailed documentation in case management software.
Identify red flags and potential litigation cases, making recommendations to the litigation team when necessary.
Uphold the firm’s values of professionalism, empathy, and advocacy at all times.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar.
2–5 years of experience handling personal injury matters.
Strong understanding of Nevada tort law, insurance claims, and settlement processes.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to multitask.
Tech-savvy and comfortable using case management software (e.g., Filevine, Needles, Neos or similar).
Self-starter who is driven, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering top-tier results for clients.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 annually depending on experience
Quarterly, and annual bonuses based on performance and results
