What Will You Be Doing?

The Junior Contracts Manager evaluates the risk of doing business with clients through reviewing contractual agreements and requirements. This position will negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions while maintaining strong relationships with customers. The role will additionally manage contract databases and all associated files in an orderly and accurate manner. This position requires strong communication and customer service skills to facilitate communication and build relationships with business units, and customers.

The individual has latitude for decisions which involves maintaining contracts, answering correspondences, managing records, creating presentations, and preparing timely reports.

Skills Required to Succeed:

Applies understanding of various risk evaluation and standards in the review and onboarding of current and prospective business clients.

Examine performance requirements and contract language to help ensure completeness and accuracy. Verify terms and conditions with contractor as necessary and during bidding process may act as liaison between company and customer.

Assists in the review of several complex and/or unique contract types. Negotiates the legal language with clients by applying understanding of company risk standards and working with the company’s legal counsel and executives.

Identifies, gathers, enters, and maintains a large amount of information. Maintains high accuracy and helps keep the contract process moving with all other departments. Understands and applies appropriate prioritization of individual pipeline of contracts and determines which parties need notification based on analysis of downstream effects.

Works in conjunction with business unit and internal staff to participate in meetings and resolve contractual issues with customers and addressing increasingly complex customer requests while staying informed about customer trends and the utilization of new compliance and purchasing/vendor software.

Ensures a thorough understanding and adherence to all compliance requirements associated with the role; recognizes and follows all relevant policies, codes, and regulations that apply to both the position and the organization.

Performs related duties as assigned.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has:

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Experience working in a fast-paced and multi-priority environment, experience in other intricate and complex business environments a plus.

Fulfillment through contributing as a team member in a collaborative work environment

Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a large amount of ambiguity in processes and daily tasks.

Self-confidence, strong work ethic, and customer service skills.

Ability to excel in high-pressure situations, consistently meet deadlines, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.

Initiative and possesses strong business acumen, exhibiting confidence in making informed decisions that prioritize the protection of the company against excessive risk.

Experience advising and facilitating the purchase/annual renewal of insurance. (liability, workers comp, auto, etc.)

Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited school and two years related experience including some contract experience.

Candidates that do not possess a bachelor’s degree must have a minimum of (5) five years related experience including (1) one year contract experience.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Hours

Monday-Thursday 7:00AM - 3:30PM /Friday 6:00AM - 1:00PM

Compensation:$50,000 to $65,000 /yr
