We are looking for an outgoing, organized individual to work part-time in our award winning and upscale, home consignment furnishing store in South Lake Tahoe.
We are busy, fun and have a great vibe. Our customers love us!
Hours will include weekends.
Requirements:
Knowledgeable and passionate about furnishings and home decor
Merchandising experience
Understanding of POS systems and transacting sales
Previous retail experience
Reliability is essential!
Duties:
Supervising and guiding the sales team
Monitoring the performance of the sales team
Ensuring that the store is clean and well-maintained at all times
Building and maintaining relationships with customers
Identifying opportunities and strategies to increase sales
Performing all duties of the Sales Manager in cases of absence or emergency
Greeting and helping customers with questions regarding furnishings and decor items
Being knowledgeable about items in store
Process sales transactions through POS system
Check-in/Price consignment items into system as required
Other daily responsibilities also include:
Maintaining clean environment, organizing furnishings and moving items
Should be able to lift 30 lbs.
Hourly pay based on experience + BONUSES. With opportunity to grow!
