POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Retail Operations Manager will be solely responsible for managing DRINK COFFEE DO STUFF's retail locations – (3) three current coffee shops: Truckee, Incline Village, South lake Tahoe – and contributing to expanding the retail footprint around the Reno/Tahoe region. The RROM will be working with a team of store supervisors and leads and our other category managers to organize, orchestrate, oversee and execute all retail operations and employees while contributing to the vision of the company’s future retail footprint. With a strong emphasis on data-based decisions and finance handling, this position will develop and implement strategy, protocol and policies that elevate DCDS’ in-store coffee experience, brand identity, customer service, employee retention and profitability.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Hiring/Managing/Scheduling Employees
Implementing retail protocol, policies, and profitability strategies
Developing event and PR opportunities
Working with state and municipal agencies on operating permits, etc
Training new employees with Coffee Trainer/Store Supervisors
Creating seasonal beverage and food menus
Evaluating menu and pricing as needed to keep up with financial goals, CPI and COGS
Running point on all employee and customer service incidents
Introducing monthly and annual sales strategies
Analyzing KPIs, financial data, labor percentages, waste management and hitting sales goals
Supervising employee performance and promotions
Managing all vendors and product distributors
Developing and delegating solution for all non-emergency situations
Managing payroll with bookkeeper, employee tips, petty cash and bank deposits
Working with store supervisors and leads to keep stores organized, merchandised and clean
Ensure and overseeing ALL food safety regulations and food handlers cards/certificates
Retail shopping for coffee shop ingredients, if needed
Lead weekly store supervisor meetings
Generate reports and other administrative documents associated with coffee shop management
Keep the ship afloat, the doors open, customers happy and staff crushing it
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 years retail management, coffee and food service preferred
Barista experience preferred, but not required
Highly organized and meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication and conflict management skills
Strong work ethic
Ability to stay cool, calm and collective under stress
Affinity to problem solve
CPU and IOS literate
In-depth understanding of business functions
Know how to create, execute and evaluate goals
Live in Reno/Tahoe basin and willing to commute to all stores and prospective locations within the region
Food Handlers license in Nevada and California, can get during onboard training
Desire for career mobility and full time employment in retail operations
Reliable vehicle, ability to drive in all weather conditions
Able to lift 50 lbs

NOTE: This is a retail management job and has several direct reports. It requires showing up regularly to our three retail coffee shops and working out of our roastery.
