You'll be a visible, hands-on leader—coaching your team, managing key client relationships and ensuring every opportunity is managed with professionalism, creativity and genuine care.As the Director of Conference & Events, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering both commercial success and exceptional guest experiences by:Leading, inspiring and developing a high-performing Conference & Events Sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous development.Driving revenue growth by maximising conversion, business development opportunities and strategic account performance across conferences, events and group business.Managing high-value conference, event and group enquiries from initial enquiry through to confirmation.Supporting complex negotiations, proposals and contract management for key clients.Building trusted relationships through site inspections, planning meetings and personalised service.Influencing sales strategy through forecasting, reporting, commercial analysis and performance optimisation.Ensuring a seamless transition from sales to hotel operations, setting every event up for success.Identifying opportunities to enhance systems, processes and the overall client journey.Collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Finance and Hotel Operations to deliver exceptional commercial and guest outcomes.
