This individual will be instrumental in helping the Supply Chain business leads and the Supply Chain Finance Team establish high-performance capabilities.The Co-pilot position will operate as the key finance lead and strategic business partner to the VP Head of Supply Chain for NHSc US. The role will be responsible for leading the supply chain finance teams covering Logistics Finance and Procurement Finance for all businesses within NHSc US. Additionally, they will support strategic projects as they arise and help coordinate efforts across the organization in areas such as Distribution Network Optimization, Waste Management, and Key Procurement Savings initiatives.The individual must be able to effectively interact, collaborate and communicate across multiple functions in the organization, cooperating and building consensus to drive results. The position will plan, prioritize, and manage workload in an environment of competing priorities where risk must be accurately assessed to support and guide timely and sound business decisions.Responsibilities :

Establish successful business partner relationships with Supply Chain and Procurement teams supporting NHSc US and NiM partners.

Develop & implement Operational Reporting strategy that provides VP Operations, VP Supply Chain and Business Co-pilots with all necessary tools to achieve financial goals.

Support Period End Close (PEC) processes, ensure P&L financial integrity/accuracy, perform variance analysis to inform future forecasting (YTD performance/YTG forecasting).

P&L management for Variable and Fixed Distribution, Procurement PPV and Waste. Serve as the primary source of information for these line items of the P&L, driving profit improvement & cost efficiency where possible, and working with the broader functional finance community to ensure sound decision making and delivery of targets.

Lead transformational cost savings and network optimization projects in collaboration with the Supply Chain and Procurement teams

Business Planning (MBP) process: support the development of MBP process in collaboration with Supply Chain and with cross-functional teams to drive improvement and efficiency through the MBP process

Lead the MBS (Market Business Strategy) activities for Logistics, Procurement and Waste supporting the business units across NHSc US

Requirements :

BA/BS with major in Finance or Accounting (or other related field)

Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Finance Management/Accounting

Working knowledge:

US Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (US GAAP) or International Accounting Standards (IAS)

Financial statements, including Profit & Loss, balance sheet, and cash flow

Financial concepts & principles including cash flow, NPV, IRR, ROI, Economic Profit, etc.

Skills :

Ability to manage a team of Finance Managers & Analysts

Ability to work with minimal direct supervision

Ability to manage multiple work flows at any given time

Ability to understand and communicate the drivers of product profit and loss

Advanced financial modeling skills

Knowledge of the principles of cost accounting and activity-based costing

Ideal candidate has an end-to-end business mindset, is results focused, a self-starter with high initiative, naturally inquisitive, able to think independently and has a desire to make a difference

Strong financial and analytical skills; ability to draw conclusions from information and develop recommendations

Commitment to deliver accurate financial analytics with first time quality and high level of thought leadership in all work

Partner with customers/cross-functional teams to drive business results and meet deliverables; ability to influence business decisions with concrete financial support

Draw conclusions from information and develop recommendations; critically important to be able to deliver the message to non-finance professionals

Communicate effectively and professionally in written and verbal form, including presentations

Manage/organize time, information, and resources effectively to meet deadlines and respond to requests in a timely manner

Recommend possible strategic courses of action to capitalize on business opportunities
