Responsibilities include: Proactively pursue new business with new or existing customers by identifying potential customers, contacting them to discover opportunities and using incoming lead qualification and quotation follow-up techniquesUniversity and/or end user technical and sales supportIncrease regional sales through product selection support for end-users and small OEM'sOpportunity qualification and progressionDevelop and maintain a quarterly plan to drive sales activitiesDemonstrate proficiency with photonics technology and their applicationsTerritory and account management Required qualifications: BS Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related disciplineThree (3) years of experience functioning in an engineering role with significant customer interface and with a proven track record of solving customer's complex problemsThe ability to transport yourself to and from appointmentsIntermediate level skills with Microsoft Office Preferred qualifications: 4 years' experience in photonics industry2 years' inside sales experience1 year application support for technical OEM salesExperience with Customer Resource Management SoftwareExperience with international business developmentExperience with Lotus NotesThis position requires working with, or exposure to goods and information that may be subject to the jurisdiction of the and the .
