CLIENT OVERVIEW:
Our client is a well established and highly prestigious organization that is looking to add an Accounts Payable Accountant. This organization is looking for someone professional that can work on a team just as effectively as they can work independently. Ideally 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role — but would be open to a sharp recent graduate with a strong accounting/account payables internship.
SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
$28 – $30/hr
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Accounts Payable Accountant applicants must have strong attention to detail, and analytical skills. Looking for a Accounts Payable Accountant with previous experience with full cycle accounts payable and general accounting.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ACCOUNTANT:
Matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices
Working knowledge of purchase orders
Researching and resolving accounts payable with customers and vendors
Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger
High volume Accounts Payable experience or equivalent knowledge
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ACCOUNTANT:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with independent work
Experience with ERP software is a plus
Strong Excel skills
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
