Our client is a rapidly growing and publicly traded national real estate investment firm looking to add a Junior Staff Accountant. This company is looking for someone who can work independently efficiently and effectively with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
$60k - $65k Annually
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Junior Staff Accountant applicants must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Our client is looking for 1 - 2 years of experience recent accounting or finance graduates are preferred - someone who is highly motivated to start progressing their career. The ideal candidate for the Junior Staff Accountant role should be hardworking and comfortable with meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Being well-versed in general accounting principles and Microsoft Excel is a big plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JUNIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT:
Prepare financial analyses and reports.
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
Perform input, maintenance, and review of financial data.
Responsible for updating/reviewing the forecast on a weekly, monthly, and year-end basis.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE JUNIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Inter-departmental communication and relationship skills.
Strong Excel skills.
ERP systems experience.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
