Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented warehouse management trainee to join our team in our dynamic Plumbing, Heating and Cooling company. The ideal candidate will support various operations within the shop, including assembly, fabrication, maintenance, warehouse, pick and parts ordering tasks. This role is crucial for ensuring that our processes run smoothly and efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
As a Warehouse Manager trainee at Good Tidings PHC, you will eventually oversee all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure efficient supply chain management and support our commitment to exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Manage inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials efficiently.
Develop and implement effective supply chain processes to optimize workflow.
Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and support to enhance performance.
Coordinate transportation logistics to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Identify areas for continuous improvement within warehouse operations.
Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and streamline processes.
Collaborate with other departments to align warehouse activities with overall business objectives.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, vehicles, buildings and report any issues to supervisors.
Work with a team to pick up HVAC equipment and run parts as needed.
All assigned duties and tasks.
Qualifications
Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within the service industry.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory control methods.
Demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred).
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in assembly processes.
Basic mechanical knowledge to accomplish mechanical tasks.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Starting Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour based on experience
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
