Weber Scientific, Inc. (Weber) is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team!
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
High School degree or equivalent (GED)
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be well-organized and detail-oriented
Friendly, professional, reliable, and presentable
Customer Service Representative duties include, but are not limited to:
Attracting potential customers by answering product/service questions and suggesting information about other products/services
Serving customers by providing product/service information and resolving product/service problems
Reviewing current promotions, products, or sale items with customers suggesting other products used in their applications
Tracking product requests and output by completing logs
Collecting customer information, analyzing customer needs, recommending potential products/services, and preparing quotations
Resolving product/service problems by clarifying/determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution (this includes, but is not limited to, return authorizations, replacement orders for damages, proof of deliveries, copies of documentation to customers, etc.)
Daily updating of mailing list database and ERP database of primary customer records with new customer information and changes to existing customers and prospects, as required
Maintaining work operations by following policies and procedures outlined in but not limited to the Customer Service Representative Manual
Documenting actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Additional tasks vary from employee-to-employee
This is a full-time position (Mon-Fri, from 8am-5pm) in which the employee will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period. Weber has a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, AD&D and life insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, and 401(k).
